I lead all editing and clipping for Guerilla’s podcast network — cutting each show into vertical-first video segments tailored for TikTok, Reels, X, and YouTube Shorts. These clips drive discovery and retention, acting as the gateway to our live and long-form podcast content.

Problem:
Our shows had a solid listenership, but minimal social traction. Full episodes were too long for feed scrolling, and we lacked a consistent method to surface the best moments for broader distribution.
Solution:
I created a high-volume clip workflow — identifying key takes, reactions, and funny moments from every show and re-editing them for social. Every clip is cut for retention: quick pacing, subtitles, punchy captions, and context baked in. The goal is to spark comment threads, reach non-followers, and build buzz around the shows’ personalities.
Platform-specific strategy:
Instagram & TikTok: 30–60 second vertical edits optimized for casual sports fans. Focus is on bold takes, humor, and emotion.
X (Twitter): Used to drive conversation — we pair clips with spicy, tweet-length headlines designed to get replies and shares.
YouTube Shorts: Leans more educational or analytical, using evergreen moments from the show that align with what sports fans are already searching.
Analytics:
Contributed to Guerilla Sports’ consistent 20M–25M monthly view count, with podcast clips helping fill the middle of the funnel.
Has driven a noticeable uptick in live show attendance and returning viewership, as fans discover hosts through shortform first.
Several clips have surpassed 500K-2M views organically, with others syndicated by larger platforms.
