Our full postgame coverage series, featuring coach and player interviews paired with original visuals and game footage. I manage the entire lifecycle β€” from capturing interviews in real time to editing for platform-specific formats and publishing within minutes of the final whistle.

postgame content πŸŽ₯

Problem:
Postgame media coverage across sports is often generic, limited to quotes, and lacks visual creativity. Avalanche fans β€” particularly the diehard community on X β€” were underserved by mainstream outlets that rarely posted full interviews or made them digestible for casual audiences.

Solution:
I built a fast-turnaround, multi-platform content flow that made postgame interviews both timely and engaging. We post full-length interviews on X for unfiltered access, while editing highlights for TikTok and IG using slow-motion clips, stat overlays, and photography to give our content visual punch. We turn raw interviews into immersive content that fans return to night after night.

Platform-specific strategy:

  • X (Twitter): Full interviews, uploaded minutes after availability ends. These serve our core Avalanche community, who expect depth and immediacy.

  • Instagram & TikTok: Short-form edits with visuals layered over quotes, key reactions, or standout moments. Designed for fans who may not have watched the game but still want to be in the loop.

  • YouTube: Longer-form interviews archived for long-tail search and deeper content consumers.

Analytics:

  • A core pillar of Guerilla’s 7M monthly Avalanche views.

  • Drives some of our highest watch times and comment engagement, particularly on X where fans discuss moments in real time.

  • Frequently reposted and cited by major hockey accounts β€” including B/R Open Ice and BarDown β€” helping extend our organic reach.

  • Unique in its category β€” few competitors match the volume, quality, or speed of our postgame pipeline.
